No I didn't I said there are some good ones and some awful ones; how is that a "tar brushing"?You did when you said don’t expect too much from agency workers. That is a definite tar brushing

Don't expect too much from agency workers.
Look at it from their position and think about why they're doing it - if you only want them for a few days they either need to find another job when you've finished with them, or earn enough in those few days to cover the times when they haven't got any work.
Some are new to the trade and haven't got the experience which employers are looking for, some are older than employers want, some have other commitments or only want to work locally, but then there are the others, who can't get a job on the cards because they're just awful. You might find you have to get twice as many subbies as you thought you might need because they might only work half as quickly as you'd like them to.
