which 18v cordless drill/driver.. ??

hi all, looking at drill/drivers, wat do u all use.. ang good deals out there

I only buy Bosch Professional, IMO they are the best you can buy, I am a bit of a Bosch person

I have the following items if you want an opinion on them or anything:

I looking at gsr 18 ve-2-li pro with 2x 4ah batteries, wats the difference between gsr and your gsb combi drill

depends what you are looking for. i stick to makita as i already have the batteries, ill admit the combi i just picked up is a lot more powerful than i need.

the only time it stops spinning is when it tweaks your wrist so you let go of the trigger. its down to personal preference at the end of the day to what brand you use.

use black and decker or hili etc if you like

No circles on this thread? Only a member asking for advise from other time served electricians on what tool is best? It's called conversation and helpfulness!

Think I'll take my glasses back to Spec Savers and get them re calibrated because I cant see a circle.

if you do go for makita get the dhp481 brushless model i got it for £124 body only

what model do you guys recommend in the brand you guys use e.g default,bosch and Milwaukee

I find FFX to be very good, 99% of the time it's in stock for next day and the price is usually the best.

uksparks there are different sites that are better for certain brands.

for example toolstop regually has drills on offer and for makita fast-fix.co.uk is usually reasonable (fast-fix only sell makita) there are bound to be sites specifically for bosch,milwaukee etc but i havent looked

of course you got circles. it's the way a drill works. the chuck goes round in circles. ( unless it's power devil, then it's triangles.)
