Which certificates ?

Hi,
I have just completed a job which was an extension which consisted of 4 new circuits to a kitchen downstairs and i extended the ring upstairs for the bedroom and i extended the lighting circuits upstairs and downstairs.
Question is do i need to supply a EIC for the new circuits and 3 MEIWC for the 2 lighting and ring circuit.

Use one EIC and describe the work undertaken, unless you wish to do them seperately, that is.

which is normally done by sending LABC a copy of your EIC, as the extension build will already be subject to BC. scam membership is not necessary in these cases, as long as LABC are satisfied that you are competent./qualified.

Yes it is, creation of a new circuit is notifiable for a start. By your logic a complete new build house would not be notifiable!

The only difference with a full plans application is that if you are not a scam member then inspection by building control can only be charged at the rate of a normal building regs inspection (if my memory serves correctly)
