Which Competent Person Scheme

Hi all, I am new to the forum and have been enjoying reading the posts.

I am looking at joining a competent person scheme and was wondering if any of you had any comments good, bad or ugly about the various providers?

they're all sharks, after your hard-earned. elecsa and napit are the 2 i'd recommend. forget the name of the "other" one. nic, or nice or something like that.

elecsa are pretty good, been with nic and left. Apparently napit aregood as well.

I have been with Elecsa since all this part P nonsense began, i only have praise for them. i would highly recommend Elecsa to anyone.

Aside from those already mentioned,the one that will no doubt exceed them all is the APHC


You may find, (unlike all those others) it could even benefit you in some way, rather than just costing you money

nic approved and domestic schems for us we have been with them 8 yrs i think you get more work being in these I have heared of people getting in to other schems that have only ever done 2 domestic jobs not impresed

Thanks very much for the replies, I was looking at Niceic because they seem to be well known to the general public, but I have heard a lot of bad press from other electricians. I am favouring Elesca now as they seem to be highly regarded by you.

If you're just "doing" domestic then Elecsa everytime
