Thing is though Steve, I like my Wiha drivers you like your CKs (I think you said that earlier anyway) there's no harm in the thread but opinions are like arseholes mate. We've all got one

Thats a fair point Trev, I think I put a bit too much sway into statistics. Still, If one clearly comes out on top amongst a group of professionals then I'd be inclined to think that it must be a good quality screwdriver.

Still, its a bit of fun having a poll! :smile5:

I have a few different ones in the tool bag. This makes it easier to differentiate between the different sizes. The last set I brought were Irazola's. A while ago now though.

Similar here. All of my flat blades and pozi drivers are Wera, but I deliberately bought CK for three Phillips drivers so that they would be easy to differentiate.

thats why i started to use facom

the black pen mark eventually wears off on wera drivers.

on facom you can get them with different coloured tops.

makes it easy, blue is pozi, yellow is philips

I have been using Irazola screwdrivers for 15 years and they used to be pretty much indestructible back then, nowadays they dont last at all,or maybe its just me?

your right there, a spark that used to work for us had an old set that was indestructible but he got through a lot of new irazola drivers

My current set are Wiha slimline drivers, but I must say they aren't to impressive, the small terminal drivers bend and the insulation is starting to show signs of giving up.

Admittedly they do get tough use, doubling up as light chisles on some occasions :O but this was the same for my previous drivers which performed notably better.

I now find myself "borrowing" my apprentices ck set quite regularly.

The old timers choice is Bacho. Hard points but brittle, so you need to use the right one for the screw and never use the terminal driver on posidrive head because you can't be bother getting the right one.

Outlasts everything else I've had over the years!

facom is one better than bahco, they dont snap as easy but you will snap a tiny bit off a 2.5 terminal if you try it in a tight 1"1/2 8.

cut down, ground down and as good as new.
