!..I'm going for a Ford Ka Van with a roof rack..!

Small 'n' nippy, good on fuel, ins, road tax (I think), you can fit in a garage with all the expensive tools in it, e.g PAT tester. With the tube thingymebob and ladders on the roof rack. Perfic..!

Have a good breakfast, there wont be any room for your lunch box !!

"Parkinson's Law - tools expand to fill the space available"

I've had the lot over the years and JUST bought a 2nd hand Nissan Navara pickup because I got tired of not having room in the front OR the back. Fab so far but I'm sure it'll be wrong somewhere. Point is, ANY van is a compromise in one sense or another nd you'll need to find the right balance between size, utility, cost, comfort....etc. Everyone will have a different opinion!

What reg is caddy? What it like on fuel?I really really need to get rid of my vito I can't get over the amount of fuel it drinks per week

Depending on what "making good" you'll do, you may need to accomodate plasterboard sheets on occasion.

Yer as i found out when i needed 4 sheets of plasterboard that wouldnt fit in my Nissan vanette had to get a mate with a transit to get them and pay him !

Have to admit when i was at SSE we had connects and i thought mine had a hole in the fuel tank ! mind you it could have had with all them bloody speed bumps !
