I use a snickers rig. Really good and inter changeable for the job in task. Cost a bomb though. I also have a small Kunys electrician belt for smaller jobs.

I use a bosch heavy duty belt with an electricians pouch & hammer loop on one side and a drill holster on the other. Only problem is that it is really clumbersome.

When working at height, i don't use a toolbelt as I wear a petzl harness which restricts where I can fit things so my drill is on a lanyard with a carabiner clip so it hangs at my side and the same with my hammer. Screwdrivers etc just get put in my pockets although on some sites over a certain height I have to have everything on safety lanyards.

I really fancied the snickers tool rig as it looks like it will fit with my harness but is it really worth the money?? It just looks like 2 snickers pockets stitched to a belt & braces combo.

It is really good looks alot more rigid in real life. The pockets are a lot more tougher and have more shape to them than the ones they have on there trousers or the flexi pockets you can buy. All the pockets can be moved around to any position and you can get loads of other funky pockets.

The only problem I have with snickers is the time it took from ordering it to having it delivered. It took ages.

This is a good vid about the belt look at 3.22

I have got lots of pockets:D

No seriously i also use the CK one but i usually end up with the contents of the van in it and it ends up around my bottom. not a nice sight

Oh what a nightmare,

ive had a dewalt electricians toolbelt and pouch for the past 9 years and it has finaly worn a hole in the bottom.

Worst part is they no longer make it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive searched and searched but just cant find one i like. I ordered the makita one and now its turnned up i realy dont think it is big enough for what i want.

Ive looked at the recomendations on here and realy like the Occidental Leather ones.

Anyone got anything else to suggest??

Dave

I use the Makita electricians pouch coupled with a hammer and tape holder and it's perfect for the essential bits of kit required for the task, mainly when on a pair of steps. Just need to add a couple of holsters for the cordless drills now.
Before anyone else say's it I don't need spurs or a stetson, yeehahh.. lol :2guns:
