Which tool case?

Yeah, coming from a country with toilet paper for currency definitely makes price an issue. I'm sure the Veto bag is great but I just couldn't justify the massive price difference.

I like the format of my existing case with the handles and shoulder strap and opening sides. I like the rubberized waterproof base and I often need to walk long distances with it so a shoulder strap is a must.

I don't carry big stuff like extension cables and power tools, I just have the standard range of handtools along with 3 testers and a laptop and some other bits and pieces. The largest tools I carry are a pair of adjustable pump pliers and an adjustable spanner. That said it's pretty heavy when fully loaded.

Any suggestions what might be suitable please?

I would stick with CK we sell alot of the holdalls and they are top quality

A mate of mine bought one of those tote jobbies, it had a flap over the opening very nice too, think it was a Stanley one paid about £40 for it, very pleased he was too until he saw the same one for £22 in Homebase lol

Used to have the 20" Facom Tote bag, really smart and can fit a lot of tools in, upgraded to the larger version about a year ago as I found myself needing a space for a senior hacksaw, files, big tail cutters etc. Really easy to get tools in and out with the flap over cover

I really like mine, its in the garage at the moment with some spare tools in it.

For a hold all you cant beat veto xxl but there pricy, still you can always find your tools straight away
