Of the two choices I'd go for the Makita, because you can be confident that in few years time there will still be spare parts available and a reliable repair network. Makita claim to have spares available for every model of tool they have ever made.
One word of caution though a number people on here and elsewhere are complaining of a high rate of Makita L-ion battery failures. :banghead:

can get them for around ÂŁ150 with the led torch that lasts hours

cracking little impact driver. got it from the elex last year in cov and its a dam fine piece of kit. powerfull enough to remove the nuts from the car tyres. coach bolts straight into solid wood in seconds. tbh i had not heard of them and they were a bit of a punt but well impressed

My boss has em and they are DEFINITELY a good investment (will be getting my own set soon).....
