This is the quoted NCR:
"21 MCS 001 (17) C. Hammond`s SPV certificate expired Jan 2016,
evidence of competency needed.
Agreed corrective action Company to evidence via email"
Has no one else been asked to do this? I'm really ****ed off with it.

See my post in the Green Lounge (linked to above) a very quick summary of that is
"For clarity, there is no requirement(1) to gain qualifications."

"The identified competency criteria provide a matrix of the knowledge required for a number of roles.
Some of this knowledge could be demonstrated through training and qualifications. However the roles also allow for an ā€œExperienced Workers Routeā€ for individuals wishing to be assessed who do not hold or wish to gain the formal qualifications relevant to the technology concerned"

"Any evidence submitted to the MCS Certification Body shall be sufficiently robust so as to allow an audit trail to be followed when the evidence is evaluated by the MCS Certification Body.
Companies wishing to explore the Experienced Workers Route should contact their MCS Certification Body, who will be able to provide guidance on the application process."

The titles of the relevant documents that these quotes come from is in the full post in the Green Lounge

tell them to assess you under the experienced worker route, and use the evidence of the number of MCS certs issued each year as your evidence of the necessary level of experience along with the original training.
