Who does the cooking at home.My kids moan about the wife's cooking because it is nearly always burn't.When i do the cooking, the kids always compliment it.Anyone else have these same problems.

You haven't tasted my cooking then:D

I was refering to mine being far superior to the mrs

On saying that i was trained in a 3 michelain star resturant under marco pierre white so i should be in the elite best cooks around, problem is i hate it and can only strech to a frozen pizza when im off duty

I love cooking, but the only one that appreciate's it is my youngest daughter(14).My wife cooks, but all her food has to be cremated just to make sure it's cooked:eek:

I know mate,i do a mean curry, couldn't work in a big kitchen like you did thou, too stressful

Worst thing anyone can do is be a pro chef, cook for yourself, cook what you like to eat, and most of all enjoy it. Cooking for a living is a mugs game.

I have cooked for stars, royalty, dignatries, world leaders. i have worked in michelain star resturants, hotels, cruise ships and high profile events. i look back with a smile and some fond memories, but i hate it and i cant wait to turn my back on it for good

My wife is a very good cook, she also is good at baking cakes but doesnt make them often enough.
It ****es her off that i can also cook good as well, what gets her back up even more than that is that as i am ex RAF i can also do everything she can do like ironing, sewing, cleaning etc etc, as i keep reminding her i can do her job but she cant do mine..............

Regards.............Howard

Im a bit of a chef de pot noodle ! the mrs cooks like the woman in butterflies sounds like she went to the same cooking school m8 !
