I always kind of assumed that Lucien was older than that !

I am older than that, the rectifier pic was about 10 years ago but it's not a trick I'm going to repeat any time soon. As they say on TV, don't try this at home!

The one in the projection booth is nearly current though.

@freddo, you can't have any of our DP75s but I can find you a pair of Vic8's if they will do? Not too many 70mm projectors around these days. About 80-90 in working order in cinemas worldwide I think. DP75s are a bit of an acquired taste. Some operators seem to have a deep distrust of them, and I admit they have some foibles, but fundamentally they are capable of very good results.
