Hi guys and girls, just want to say hello and pick some brains! Not long got me qualifications and have no records of previous work as was a general builder and sub out all me spark work. So now who do i register with to help me get started out there, ive been looking at the usual suspects? thanks in advance for any help

contact napit and elescsa. they have all the info you need on their web pages.

The niceic is the most acepted in the market place.

i think if your going to work on site then go for elecsa or napit as there cheeper to register with but if your going to work in the general publics house they only know the NICEIC badge.

That would account for 1 out of perhaps 200 if your lucky
The other 199 will have heard of none of them

So in that context the Niceic are certainly No 1 with the general public

1 in 200? Ever the optimist Des! ;)

Lets face it, there are very very few members of the public who actually know what a Competent Persons Scheme is anyway. I've never had 1 customer ask which one I belong to, because they don't even know what the hell Part P is
