You can add components to walls in the same way as roof surfaces. When in building view you can cycle between different roof views AND the different wall surfaces by clicking the arrows on each edge.



The porch is another component you can add once you are in building view, although the support is made from a smoke stack, shrunk a little.

By the way, we are planning an advanced course for the near future; it’ll cover this subject (plus some more goodies) if you’re interested ?

The advanced course will focus on the tools and techniques of site surveying and how best to use the collected information to improve your design in PV*SOL. It will also include any tips and tricks I’ve picked up along the way – especially for 3D visualisation and photoplan.

This will complement the core two day PV*SOL course either as a third day or as a standalone day for previous trainees and advanced users
