Hiya

Is there anywhere online that you would recommend for using to buy materials. Im currently using CEF and Ritchies but is there any advice on better?

CEF always overcharge. I pay cash so i query the amount there and then and they come back with a lower price.do they think they are retailers? best one they tried was to ask for ÂŁ19 for 100m telephone 2 pair, when I asked why how much. the a hole said its cause of the price of copper. Got him down to ÂŁ13 went to job and wondered why my magnetic pick up tool stuck to it. was mild steel wire with a couple of microns of copper coat. Electric Center every time for me. good prices. good gear

I use TLC too, not had any problems with anything I have bought from them, although it drives me nuts that they dont sell 2.5mm 3core flex in black. WHY NOT????

Also use Newies if I have time to visit or need things straight away, but I have had varied experiences between their stores as to how good they are. Depends on the staff I guess!

Been using Neweys alot recently and the service i am getting is second to none. Phone them up before 4.30 and they have gear delivered to the branch by 7.30 next morning from a central warehouse.

Really ?

CEF around my way are awful over charging, double billing and poor counter staff. Dread the times when I have to use them, though as said above areas differ so much :)

In my neck of the woods CEF is an abbreviation of Check Every Figure! - you agree discounts but have to continually check your statements to be sure they are being applied.
