Went to a job today to replace some wall and ceiling lights along with some switches and sockets.

I came across this cu which was just installed last Xmas. It was in a newly renovated downstairs bathroom. From what I understand, the spark also fitted the vanity unit after the cu install.

How can anyone possibly remove the cover without dismantling the entire vanity unit?

Is there a minimum space that should be left infront of the cu for access?

I went to do some work in a house where the kitchen installers had installed a cupboard and cut the top out to go around the cu but only just enough, it was straight across the middle of it and i could'nt turn the mcb's off
