My agreement states the following copied from the document word for word

Particulars to the lease plan excludes (for the avoidance of doubt) the structure walls and roof of the building

So you are not giving up on the freehold of your property at any time as some say you do on the forum.

In addition the lease/contract is backed up by the fsa
