any ideas,6 electric chain window openers, none work, either open or close.
230 volts at each opener,switched by 3 position switch,off,open,close.

Eh?

Please excuse the obvious but a common neutral, broken?

(Didn't just check voltage presence with a neon screwdriver or proximity bleeper or something did you?)

Some window openers come in both low voltage and mains voltage variants (important to know which you are dealing with, can be a slight variation in part number).

I'd want to know first (if possible) what happened for none to be working. e.g. did they all suddenly stop working together, or did they fail one by one?

230v AOV actuators are unusual, as polarity on 24v dc is reversed to open/close the AOV window.....if 230v ac actuators are used, there are usually 3-4 core cable to send 230v ac individually to open/closed the window. would need more info on control panel & actuators
