hello all. i've got an interview with a company who fit wireles alarm systems in domestic properties however i've only got experience with hard wired systems. does anybody know where i can swat up on such systems.

If you have done hard wired systems then the wireless ones should be a doddle to you.

I can't image you would need to worry about netwoking in domestics!! I use Visonic if iam asked for a wireless system,complete doddle . Do you have an Adi Gardeners near you if so pick one up and have a play

the bloke said on the phone that i need to be able to set up wireless networks and as an idiot wanting an interview i said yeah of course i've done it loads of times!

Mate I would blag as much as I could and then work it out when you have to do it, list all the systems that I have worked on and let that do the talking

have fitted various wireless kits and are self explantory, usually come with step by step guide, also know of friends(non sparks) who have fitted their own after I have provided a spur. Nothing to worry about

By far the best wireless system on the market is the HKC SW1070 or thier new system The Quantum. Really Really easy to install and program, also comes with Prox Tags......
