hi, thinking of wiring a PBX system for my telephone system in a multi point big house. there will be approx.12 points. the normal virgin media line can only withstand up to 4 telephones (4 REN). so have decided to go for a PBX telephone system with an optional voip capability. have chosen the panasonic KX-TDA15 PBX system for the distribution. see...... Can somenone please advise on the method of wiring to this box. i am considering sending round cat 6 cabling (becuse i will have loads of it left over) from "each" telephone point down to this PBX box putting an RJ45 connection to it and then use an adapter plug to finally connect to this panasonic PBX box. is this the right way of doing the wiring?... pls advise... i have below a youtube video of a similar setup; only the chap is using the standard flat cable to connect directly from the phone to pbx unit (as the phones are right next next to the unit!)...see below...
