Hello all thanks for help
spoke with bosch done the 7:3 boiler purge air, but as mentioned by bosch that when you restart the boiler the boiler purges automatically.
But looks like new pump

did you get through ok?

you can do a simple test if you want but bea warned it may spit it back out/break your screw driver lol

open the air/bleed screw on the pump and have an old flat head screw driver to hand

slowly put your screw driver in the pump via the vent hole and slowly apply pressure if you can stop the pump your pump is **/* if it spits your screw driver out then your pumps fine

(note i dont do a+e phone calls with screwdrivers in people hands :D so i dont accept responsibility if it goes wrong )

Aye .... I would say you've just found the problem - it's not designed to work on its side!!

:D dont know who installed it then :D

Hi all put pump in late last night ran up to syphon fill program then showed A1 again
done this about 10 times, could here air escaping first two times on pressure unit on side through vent but still doing it?
Do I need to lower pressure & check charge on red vessel?
Any help would be most appreciated

Hi all thanks for help at bottom of problem now,
but here was a tip I was given
unplug the pump speed modulator clip, the pump will run all time run boiler again no A1 hot water hot & ch hot, put back on modulator clip if it goes to A1 then there is a pub board comm problem & new PCb board as it was for me.

so air is escaping all the time and yes you can check the pre charge in the expansion vessel and the pre charge should be listed on the vessel and yes you might hear air escaping when you fill the system up pressure due to the air valve letting the air out
