Some of you may or may not be aware but Lesley in Coronation Strret died. In a shocking episode she fantastically, at last, decided to put a live toaster in a sink full of water.

Now, if an RCD had been fitted to the socket circuit with which the toaster was plugged into would Lesley still be alive and kicking?

It would depend on the path the current took through their body, and their state of health.
6mA for just a few milliseconds is all that is required across the heart of an average, healthy person; for the heart to cease operating.
As such, if the current path was from one hand to the other, most likely death would occur.
If though the path was from the right hand to a foot, then death would be unlikely.

sorry to have to tell you this but its PRETEND!!

Having never seen an episode of the programme,I don't have a clue who or what Lesley is,man woman, illegally imported Python or just a plain actor
I'm sure that Homer Simpson would have survived the toasting with just a "Doh" Rcd or no Rcd
There again is Corrie a reality show ? If not maybe it should be :hurray:
