i had to replace a lighting tranny in a corridor.
it has 9 x 50w 12v halogen lamps on a run of around ten metres. my wholesaler said the only single tranny that will do this would be a 500w torroidal.
i installed this but its causing nuisance tripping.
on further investigation the bumpf says to use type c or d mcbs.
they only have an old wylex board that has been upgraded with 60898 plug ins.
the wiring cannot be split to shorten the run or divide the load with two transformers, all concrete ceilings in an upmarket flat. ????????

Would it be possible to install some sort of contactor arrangement???

up market flat old wylex board nah

Change it to a HRC at D.b and but a new modular board in with a B curve mcb you could even put in a double pole one in
