Could anyone tell me a rough timeline on old Wylex fuseboards....

The brown ones, the wooden base ones, the ones with the insulated backs... the cream coloured ones... any info would be appreciated

Good old Wylex Standard CU I think you can still get them.

Certainly can Edmundsons have them.

just checked the link the one with the main switch in the middle is there (I have never seen this model) funny thing is there is no reviews yet!

Yeah I have only dealt with the grey model in the 70's to note, it only had 60amp dp switch like the rest in that era.

The new ones shown are not as good quality as the old ones, rubbish terminals for the tails and each terminal has only one screw. The plastic frames used around the 2 holes in the lid have been broken on every one of the ones I've seen. My favourite ones are the large metal dual tariff boards that also have a separate single high current way.
