Christ, I pay £1.25 a bottle in Lidl!

Does the same at what ever price gets you drunk if you drink enough of it.

I think I would rather pay £1.25 a bottle a £12.42 a bottle it would cost a fortune

To be fair, it's not some weird name stuff, it's virtually everything that the big supermarkets sell for £2 a bottle. I usually buy Hobgoblin, Directors, or Pedigree. And all for £1.25 each for a 500ml bottle.

as above^^^. all good stuff. sometimes they even got old peculier. and the ruby rooster @ 99p is a good buy.

The ruby rooster is good as well, similar sort of taste to Hobgoblin. Never tasted old peculiar, Brankston is quite nice though. I'm still new to ale, it's something I took up last year as I turned 31.
