hi, I'm in need of a little help, I have bought an inline extractor fan, the booklet shows I can fit a 3 pin plug to it or hard wire with a switch, I want to use a plug but I am not sure if I have wired it on correct as it has no power, I was wondering if anyone could advise, the diagram shows
L1 Brown, L2 Black, N White and my plug of course is brown, blue and earth, I have tried the live in L1 and L2 and get no power
thanks in advance

Hm

The diagram I have shows this

Which looks easy peasy
I've shown you mine, can you show me yours?
(diagram I mean)

You need to put the blue on N
and the brown on L1 or L2 depending on if you want high or low speed.

In the drawing they have shown a separate switch, so you can select the speed from the switch.
