Hi guys, quick bonding question.

I'm changing a cu and cannot find the point of entry of the raising water main. The current board has a 10mm bonding cable which when disconnected and tested to pipework gives a value of 0.01 ohms. Do you think this will be OK if I comment on the EIC, as a deviation, that the bond exists but cannot be located.

Many thanks in advance.
Steve

That is generally the very last thought a home owner will have, when having a new kitchen installed!!! lol!! Pure Panic stations later, when and if they ever have a leak and don't know where the stop cock is.... lol!!!

Had the same on my last ECR.
Did exactly what you did and coded it appropriately.
I could get to the stop cock but it was boarded out so I couldnt quite get to the bonding clamp.

we.v got one now.....lead riser on the other side of the room from the kitchenette (if you could call it that..lol..)....no bonding there....its leaking anyway so we`v got to wait till old wet arse gets in there to sort it.....he should replace this lead with copper .....then we`l get our bond on it......just waitin for `im...
