Evening guys, I`m working on a small industrial unit at the moment. Most of my work is domestic and have not come across this before when doing commercial or industrial. The main supply is coming up through the floor and into the main 3 phase service head......along with this is what I would say is a 25mm double insulated meter tail, which goes to the MET. I am getting a reading of 127.2 ohms Ze. There is no sign of a rod so am I right in saying this is probably an earth grid/tape/mat or similar.

Explain the main Earthing arrangement where is it taken from ?
A pic will save a lot of questions if possible.

I'm not sure that insulated tails with a sheath would be correctly termed as double insulated.
However, I'd be interested to know what the earthing system is classified as......

If you're looking at a 127 ohm Ra, it's unlikely to be a TT earth grid or mat. More like a single short twig, that for some god knows what reason, is called as an earth rod/electrode!! lol!!
