Hi everyone,
My first thread and second entry (after a thanks, massive thumb and wide smile to Sintra for his brillo Basic Test Procedures thread). Anyway...I have a Kewtech KT63 mulit function tester. Under the Loop test functions instructions, the test Lead configuration for High current Ze testing reads as a two-wire test and instructs that the earth prod (with its connected lead) is clipped onto the blue test lead therefore connecting the earth and neutral leads ready for connection to the earth or neutral conductor to be tested... My question is, as it's a two wire test, does the earth lead go into the earth port of the tester as it would for a Zs socket test, or is it left hanging loose for the Ze test?
Thanks in anticipation,
Babs.
