When calculating Zs I use R1+R2 x 1.2+ ze. Does any1 else apply the temperature factor

As Zs is used to calculate whether the protective device will open quickly enough if a fault occurred, I assume that during any fault the cable would pretty quickly rise to its maximum operating temperature, so using the GN3 1.2 multiplying factor on the R1 +R2 measurement makes sense to me when calculating maximum Zs??

No I always test circuits with an instrument and get the ZS every time, I can't think why I would need to calculate this essential reading at all on any circuit, please humour me and let me know why you would.

I don't know how to use an Earth Loop Tester. I get Ze by enquiry.

I'm like an electrical psychic. I just touch the relevant wiring accessories and using me extra sensory perception I get readings. Much easier, no need for test kit or calibration, and all my readings are within the regs too!
