hello all,
I am about to start a mildly ambitious project with some addressable RGB led strips. I am still shopping for the perfect strip and my requirements are ip68 and <=3mm width. 30 leds/meter will be perfectly fine for my application. At that density and with the project run I have in mind I would be looking at approx 8000 pixels on the high side.
My research has thus far indicated that I will probably be stuck at 5v strips. 5v strips with ~1 led/inch is perfectly fine. I will be using all of these strips in a 155 ft perimeter. I need some advice on power injection distance frequency and what type of controller would best fit this scenario. Any advice/recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
