Crabtree Shaver Socket Removal

Hi I have to remove a screw less chrome ( NOT THE FLAT ONES) cover plate of a crabtree shave socket and no luck to date

I notice that there are two little gaps that you can put a flat blade into but nothing seems to happen and I don't want to put loads of force on it in case it bends

Any Suggestions Thanks in advance

Fixed it

Just drive a small screw driver in as far as possible and gently leaver . The Plate is just pushed on with plugs and they eventually pop Get the driver in as far as possible so it get as close as possible to the studs and gently lever

failing which, a 2lb claw hammer will do.

no it's not. it couldn't fix my lappy. needed a computer genius. wipd out that god-awful vista and installed W7. so far, so good.
