Discuss Good Morning Thread - Come say good morning, tell us what you've got on today. :) in the The Electrical Exchange area at ElectriciansForums.net

We have this thread on TilersForums.com and it's just been restarted because the old thread had 20,000 replies and 500,000 views. And there were 700 pages. Started to lag a bit on slow connections.

I think we had a bash of this before, but I can't find the thread, so thought I'd start another one off.

If you have time in the mornings, come post in the thread before you head off to work, let us know what you've got on and what the weather is like in your area etc. Anything at all is fine. :)

Posts and likes get counted towards your total stats in this thread.

So GOOOD MORNING PEOPLE - WEATHER IS NICE TODAY IN STOKE. I'M THANKFUL IT'S FRIDAY, HAD A RUBBISH WEEK. THANK GOD IT'S OVER.

@Lister1987 you are a credit to this trade mate, all will be fine at home in the end mate trust me I got 4 and as @DPG says it gets easier with time, I promise you that, I genuinely feel all will be ok with the course mate just keep talking and it’ll work out if your input to the course is a good as on here they won’t want you to leave, you’ll be good for they results table that’s for sure!!...good luck ?
Meant to come back and update. I successfully got transferred to the evening course, with some pressure on the college. Fewer people around, better social distancing means a happier wife and I still get to complete my studies.

bedroom gutted by fire. Everything else water damaged.
young family along my street. The husband isn’t very popular right now.... broken cigarette lighter and he hadn’t renewed his home insurance.
I’ve got downstairs sockets tested and back working, but there’s still water running through pendants and light switches.
All the cables look ok, but accessories need changed.

The pendant from the bedroom...

I think they've had a very lucky escape to be honest. Just the one room, and the living room below has water damage. Ill be rigging up some site lights for them later today so they can work on in the room.
Place stinks of smoke though... itll be in the carpets and soft furnishings.
He was saying his sofa is covered under warranty for "accidental damage" but that however doesnt include fire or flood.... so he says hes going to "accidently" drop a pot of paint on it when they decorate.
