What about lifting laminate flooring? Easy enough to remove but I have no clue how to put it back again.

Hi folks, I have just started working with an electrician who is adamant that the chasing during a rewire is plastered and painted over by the electrician himself. I'm sure I have heard electricians instructing the client to get a plasterer and painter to finish up. How do you guys do it...

I just went on a EICR with my brother in law who is a fully qualified spark. I've just witnessed a whole ring final circuit wired in 1.5mm twin and earth and the cpc's into the back boxes instead of into the sockets. ??? Its absolutely criminal what some people are allowed to get away with...

Yes thanks I didn't think of that. There are no draws under the worktop just a washing machine which I could pull forward. Hopefully I should be able to clip somewhere behind it.

Cheers Pete. I'm not too keen on the sticky adhesive in trunking as I have seen them eventually fall off. But on this occasion I guess I'm going to have to tell the customer its the only way.

Advice needed. I need to run an extra spur socket for someone in their kitchen. I will take the feed of an existing socket above the worktop and run it through some trunking under the worktop. Usually I screw the trunking to the surface using rawlplugs and screws, but on this occasion I have...
