Hi I have been asked to wire up an outside light for some one I am not sure If i can wire it up to a light switch do they can have it on when they want if so what cable and if it has to be connected to an rcd
Any advice would be appreciated cheers

Obviously I havnt explained it very well I done a college course about 2 years ago i beaded a job becuase I need money quick and no electrical work when I was looking I have wanted to go back into it I have a job in elecetrical and I start soon I was just looking for some advice as college courses don't teach you how to wire up an outside(security light ) light I obviously didn't realise that there wouldn't be any help on here but obviously I was wrong

Mate please read your question again for your qualifications you should have a better idea and yes some people have taken the pee but start having a go at every one and no one.Will help you
