I know the language used in bs7671 isn't known for being clear and straightforward.... but the first 3 or 4 mins of this really help clear things up...

It's like a Two Ronnie's sketch 😀

At least this finally confirms that his youtube videos HAVE been intended as entertainment.

Reminds me of that film Dumb & Dumber

One of the points I do agree with Del on is when he said "It fries my brain".

Says a lot about his testing when he states that he has no clue how to do a risk assessment.

There is your answer, a risk assessment is only necessary if the hazard analysis has indicated that one is required amazing how many do not know the logical order of the process.

I watched up to 12 mins but couldn't take any more.... its painful... still discussing what 'should' means... you would have thought if you were going to make a video discussing a regulation, it might be handy to actually have the regs to hand, so you can at least quote it accurately.
Unless its a beautifully acted, straight faced wind up.

He's a great advert for an approved niceic contractor.

I quite like Del's van talk videos , its like playground talk / border line parody

To be fair quite a lot of what they say makes sense

You should give up being a sparky and become an interpreter 😲

You don't need AFDDDDs if you use Wagos
You don't need SPDDDDs if the homeowner signs a waver
You don't need to follow the regs as they are only advisory

My invoice is in the post : )

you have the same opinion as myself then mate, some of Del's posts make me cringe, he needs some guidance, a nice bloke ,but a Sparky nahhh
Depends on what you mean by nice.
I don't think he could be classed as nice when he charges £200 an hour and makes a right cock up of things.

What I meant by "nice bloke" is that he seems not to get irate etc I wasn't commenting on his business sense, as a Sparks he is a no no, as he does cock things up on a regular basis. maybe he should give up sparking and try something else, cus some of his fixes are decidedly iffy

It's probably because he is I suppose honest and upfront about things to the stage where he says things like "I dont know" or “I think it is, but I'm not sure i, ll have to look it up” Is part of what makes him the nice guy one of his greatest fans must be his NICEIC assessor.

Did you ever see this one with the swinging tails, Del treats it with smiles and laughter instead of trying to rob the poor customer, it's one of his traits that make him such a nice guy

Ok, not dear old Delroy....
I like Nick, and he's just kitting out this new space, but there's a slight distraction that I might have dealt with before making the video....!
