Airflow Icon 12v fan

Hi there hope your all enjoying the sun :shades_smile:

Could someone please clarify for me with an Airflow Icon15 12v fan -----> is there no separate 12v trannie? From what I've read it looks like it is all integral which would be handy.

According to page 7 of this pdf doc the fan comes "Supplied with AC/DC transformer"

If this link works look at page 7, it seems to show a separate transformer unit.

Looks like a separate transformer it gives the dimensions and everything the above attachment, so if this is inconvenient why not use a 230V one?

and if it's anything like the one's i've fitted ( not this make), the transformer module incorporates the timer.

12v fans will not have integral transformers. The whole point of 12v fans is so there is no 230v in hazardous zones. Putting a 230v - 12v transformer in would defeat this
