Shower very near fuse board!

Ok here's the scenario. Woman I know has a garage joined on to her house, she's went & put up a partition so that the garage is split in two as one room is now going to be a room used for a dog grooming business. In the room for the dog grooming she has a shower installed on one wall........the same wall as the garage fuse board about 1.5m away! I've tried explaining to her that the mains board will need repositioned into the garage room adjacent to the room where the shower is, she's having none of it though! The fuse board was fitted to the bare block wall but has now been strapped out & sheeted, so it's basically flush with the plasterboard. I've tried explaining to her why it can't stay there. The shower is just on the wall, no shower screen etc & how dangerous it could be washing struggling dogs with the shower head & fuse board basically right beside the shower!! Her latest idea is that she will sheet over the fuse board with ply wood, I've explained how this won't be adequately protected from splashes etc... Can someone please point me in the right direction for where I can show her in the regs book that it can't stay there.

Careful M8 a couple of the Forum trolls and big girls blouses won't like your comments, your right of course, there is no excuse for an electrician to not know where section 7 is or what a regs book looks like if carrying out Domestic installation work or indeed any electrical installation work, Trouble is the poofs here are getting their knickers in a twist everytime something is said which isn't all flowers and puppy dogs and the site is starting to turn into a massage parlour now.

Id rather it turn into a brothel to be honest, or at least one of the 'massage parlors' that offers extra services...

Too true I agree with you lol, however I am expecting one or two of the pansies here to start asking questions about knitting rather than electricity issues, It is like walking on broken glass in here now, ridiculous. Electricity, you cannot see it, you cannot hear it and you cannot smell it, a very dangerous but wonderful discovery, yet when 14 or 15 year experienced sparks ask ridiculous questions the pansies defend any bashing they get. DIYers and Trainees ask silly questions, sparks should ask for second opinions, I think Dan should change the colour of the forum to pink, some members will feel right at home.

Balls !! It's not about being online. If another spark asked me in person some of the questions asked on here, I would be a lot less polite than I am on here.
I personally don't post as often in threads like this, but practicing electricians who don't know their job should expect short shrift.

Yes that was quite amusing, but that said not as stupid as some members here who start crying everytime someone says something bad about one of their dolls.
