I don't think the RCD tester complies anymore.

When you did your Zs were you using the mains lead or fly leads ?
The usual error that causes the trp display is

Well, the 1553 will complete all the required tests needed on the initial verification or periodic inspection of an electrical installation...
Napit will accept any forms as long as they meet Bs7671, i use easycert although im about to purchase a 1553 with software.

Just had a peek and single phase is on pages 9/10 in the manual.
You don't autofill. You communicate via Bluetooth to a laptop or PDA and select circuit/field or value on meter. E.g. select L-N for line/neutral...
