    Future of euro 6Vans

Having spent some 17k on a new euro 6 due to having no choice as there were very few used euro 6 on the market then. Having made the large outlay for the van I would like to at least get another 5-7 years minimum. Is there any evidence they will ban vans soon rendering my van useless? As I...

    Moving to radials in Kitchens

Why do you not want to run a 32a ring? the only issue with 4mm radials is the looping in and out of accessories can be tight. The last kitchen job i done was overkill because the client had not an idea if they wanted 1.2kw kick space heaters etc : x1 40a circuit for oven x1 32a ring for all...

    Commercial kitchen job help

i have installed some fused connection units in a commercial kitchen, normally in domestics i omit supplementary bonding due to main bonds and RCD protection being in place. Whilst my circuit has RCD protection there are existing circuits with no RCD protection and out of interest to what...

SWB van or LWB Connect or Caddy

Unless your delivering cakes, or bottles of water i wouldn't have the SWB connect. the LWB cost an extra 1.5k new but on the second hand market the price difference will be negligible. I would opt for euro 6 if your keeping the van long term as i am sure the Sugar Snap Pea and Carrot Soba Noodle...

oven circuit but not what i normally expect

a 20a RCBO supplies a 6mm twin and earth cable that supplies a dedicated socket mounted securely below the oven. The dedicated socket is controlled via a 40a double pole isolator above on the counter top. It appears at some point a juicy oven has been replaced by a much lower 2.2Kw oven on a...
