    TNS - to TT conversion

EDF have requested a building be converted to a TT system. Currently a TNS 2x100a head supplies a shop then a flat respectively. The are x2 fuse boards supplying the two areas each having 30ma RCD protection on all final circuits. Am I correct in saying in simple terms X1 earth spike Into...

    EDF meter change fault

i done an impedance test between the L-N at the meter and got 0.08 ohms so I don’t even think it’s a broken PME or neutral if that what they meant. The meter man said to the client with the fuse pulled out he was getting voltage on the neutral. Unless he has an different means of testing there...

Hello guys After doing the adiabatic the 6mm will be fine as the main earth on a tn-s 60a 16mm tail fuse board. Is there any reason past the Calc this may not be ok as running a new earth may be tricky

    OLEV grants anyone claimed

I am OLEV approved and still not gone through the process. It looks quite complicated and appears to be risky is OLEV pull the grant money after you have installed the chargers. What’s the claim process like?

Any way I can get away with

sorry, i was trying to say is there a way i can get away with not using a TT rod for car chargers installed outside on a PME system. (very anxious about banging rods into the ground) Pod point have a charger however the PME break detection device installed within is not to any BS standard to...
