Could This Be A Fused Neutral?

If we find an issue with the Service head or meter, we give it the correct Outcome C1/2/3 depending on severity. Before we fully issue the report we alert the customer and tell them we can either submit the report with the c1/2/3 on it or you can contact the DNO, have them rectify the issue and...

    Finishing Apprenticeship, what next?

That's more what I'm talking about :) We covered some designing in the apprenticeship but I assume this goes into a lot more detail for bigger projects.

    Finishing Apprenticeship, what next?

Okay, I will most likely do that next year sometime. Once I have completed those, is there anything else I can do exam wise or is that it? I Love learning new things hence I want to know what else I can do to further my knowledge / qualifications.

    Finishing Apprenticeship, what next?

Is there a time limit on when i can take the 2394/5, for instance you can't take the AAC until 2 years passed since the AM2. If not I will probably go the 2394/5 route then as I can do them sooner :)

    Finishing Apprenticeship, what next?

When I completed my AM2 they advised me that it would be cheaper and better to take the AAC as opposed to the 2394/5 due to the cost of taking those. It's £396 INC VAT for the ACC. but I am unsure if with the ACC, I'm allowed to test other people's work. Are there any other benefits in doing...

    Extra 13Amp socket outlet

I would be more worried for the bloke using the chasing machine anywhere near the CCU if it came to that. Last thing you want to be doing is hitting a cable in the wall with a spinning blade. Imagine if the meter tails came up there. BANG ;)

    AM2 exam

For the lighting, 2 plate, as shown in the diagram. Testing is very in depth, you get marks for each box on the test sheet. For example, if you tick 3 phase supply you get a mark. If you cross bonding to oil tank you get a mark as there is no oil tank. No one knows the pass mark. You have...

    AM2 exam

You get a heating system diagram, everything else you need to know how to wire up. If you look in the spec it should specify what breakers you need to use. I advise that you take the PRE AM2 as it gives you a great insight as to what's in the exam and how the days will be.
