    So had a call out last night to a house late night the lights had all tripped. Had 2 lighting circuits in one breaker one with a dead short on it and the other is fine. While i was there I also discovered there was 110v in one leg only of a cpc serving a final ring circuit but its not tripping...

    it was dead polarity i had done the r1+r2 and a visual inspection of the socket in question but i should have done r1+rn as well

    Yeah I think he was its mostly brick so i used "C" his issue was the fact i had a shower on a 40amp it is a 6mm cable. I have only recently started doing certs as i have worked for other people up to now and its monkey see, monkey do but I am sure they use C all the time yet i have been on jobs...
