Could be a loose connection. Look at the switch as well. If its a faulty switch the current could fluctuate rapidly but is not always visible to the eye at the fitting. Try changing the switch and see if that sorts it.

Yeah thanks. I'm aware of voltage drop at the second dimmer (the one with the switch wire up to the fitting) but couldn't figure out why. If it's due to the internal wiring of the switch then thats that! Looks like we're going back to one standard switch and one dimmer!!! Thanks Guys.

Hi I bought the Bosch 36v SDS and have had a load of trouble with it. Sent it back to Bosch twice and they tell me that there's nothing wrong with it. My old dewalt 24v is much better, with the exception of the clutch not being as good!!
