    2395 practical time allowance

    DB1 - 4 circuits, 1 ring, 1 distribution, 1 f.c.u to heater and 1 3 phase D.O.L starter DB2 - 3 circuits, 1 radial final, 1 2way lighting including dimmer, 1 light with 2lamps. 7 in all, 2 faults you had to find. All results to be confirmed to Bs 7671 to be made, and schedule's, test results ect...

    2395 practical time allowance

    You can do global, but there was a low ir result so had to do every circuit anyway. It's a balance of rushing through it, but making sure you find the faults and comparing results ect. Think I would have needed about another 20 mins.

    Hi All, anyone know how much time your allowed for the practical exam for the 2395. I was failed today for running out of time. We were given 90 mins for full EICR test and paperwork. Just seemed a bit unforgiving. Maybe just need to quicken up. thanks.

    Hi mate, where is the information about not needing 2394, I qualified less than year ago I'm booked in for 2395 in April and was going to save for 2394 after. What happens after a year of being qualified.

    Hi all, just after a bit of advice. I have completed 2330 level 2&3 & 17 th edition and hopefully 2395 soon and then save for 2394. Without registering with NICEIC ect, what can I actually do domestic installation wise. I know it has to be part P passed, so is it just the fact of informing LBC...

    Timer switch

    I changed to a normal bulb and its all works fine. Very strange how it worked for months with low energy bulb then had enough. Thanks for advice. Funny how customer was upset I still charged them £20 to go round and sort it out, even though it saved them over £20 for new switch.

    Has anyone had a similar problem. Was called to light that didn't work, someone had obviously had a fiddle after it had stopped working as neutral had not been reconnected properly. Anyway sorted that and got light working but when you turn the light off on the timer switch the light flicks on...

    Best tools?

    I bought the ck starter kit for about 140 quid. Found it very good quality, and like the wire cutters with the 1.5 and 2.5 holes for stripping.
