    Kitchen Socket Circuits??

I take it yourself and Des56 like the accessories on show..... option 1 & 2 out of the question on your kitchen installs then? Would your preferred preference be 6 way grid on show or 6 x d/p switches or switched fused spurs scattered around above worktop controlling appliances?

    Kitchen Socket Circuits??

Yes Gavin, I understand exactly what you are saying. I am competent but due to the fact I'm not Part P registered as I don't require this in my line of work. I will be getting a third party to sign off my works as a new consumer unit will also be fitted. :-)

    Adiabatic equation

If your time worked out to be roughly 0.35s but you wasn't 100% sure would you shift upto 0.4s rather than the other way? I would shift up to the higher time....

    Adiabatic equation

    Adiabatic equation

When plotting your PEFC against the times for your protective device in appendix 3 and your trying to work out an exact time, is it better to round it off to the nearest higher time frame?....As this will give you a slightly higher csa when working out your min acceptable size, which is better...

    Query on cable calcs

Your right it's only minor detail... (It) was the worked out value and (Iz) was the value taken from the tables in appendix 4 to get the cable size, which I thought was the other way around. Cheers anyway Biff :-)
