During our meeting in 2010, they were pretty clear that what they were bringing to the table was a sales team. If I recall correctly they were involved in finance or something similar at the time.
50 installs a week? I find that incredibly sad.
I wonder how many of those are mis-sold? And consequently, how big a stain on the industry they will leave behind when they finally decide to ride off into the sunset?
Have a read of this.

That pretty accurately describes their design and quoting process, funnily enough.

I am well aware of Genius. They're an utter joke of an outfit.
I met their gaffer around three years ago before they had started. He wanted us to work with him installing PV systems on a day rate. We didn't even get round to discussing prices as when I casually told him that I was working...
From chatting to people at Ecobuild, LG300w panels are expected to be priced around 5p/w more than the 285w. We currently pay around £195 for the LG285s I believe.

Andy, I did pass by a few times. Firstly you'd popped out for a cig and then later on you were busy with other people. Didn't want to disturb you.
The event was ok. Seemed busier than previous years which was a bit frustrating.
Not a lot of new stuff out there as far as I'm concerned.
When you say north east, is it directly facing that way? No reason why those panels shouldn't be doing reasonably well, although it is debatable whether it was actually worth considering this roof space in the first place. Particularly as in doing so you have pushed into the 4-10kWp FITs...
Is it possible? Yes. But you would need to speak to the DNO as this would effectively be above the G83 limit of 16A. This system would have the capability of producing over 3.68kWh and therefore DNO permission is required.
Is it desirable? In my opinion, no. The system is oversized and...
That's a fair point. Testing the incoming voltage is a pretty important part of a survey. But you do have to consider the possibility that grid voltages may rise.
