    YT2 trunking should do the job. Easily installed, white, adaptable for any future changes and no worries about UV levels of cable! :rolleyes:

    As per Murdoch, no code due to it being in a cupboard. Advise the client to have it changed for an RCD socket in case of bathroom appliances get plugged into it (hair dryers/shavers etc).

    Going by the above description, this is the 2nd switch on a 2 gang switch in a 3way/intermediate switching arrangement? Have a look at your notes from collage or google a drawing. Look at each circuit at a time and then think about the cables for both in the same back box to a 2 gang switch???

    Just ask your electrician to install a short bit of 20mm or 25mm galv conduit in between the two socket back boxes bedded in the wall (a coupler would be easier).     C. """affects""" the choice of the OPCD due to A & B. Insulation Resistance will not be effected due to the length of the cable! Time loop impedance "affects" the designed OPCD due to length of the cable run. The answer is still D in my book. (Tin hat on)

    D. is the correct answer. Cable length could be 1m or 200m. It is testing the insulation resistance, not the length of the conductor. The other options are all related to length of conductor!?!?!?!?!?! Although the option are all related, the key word is """NOT"""
