I think you are all racist!!!! Making the black cable suffer all the external influences. Heat, UV and the cold whilst the white (lsf) & grey (pvc) get an easy time of it laying back drinking cups of tea in the nice and warm insulation and on cable tray/basket..... You should all be ashamed of...
As per Murdoch, no code due to it being in a cupboard. Advise the client to have it changed for an RCD socket in case of bathroom appliances get plugged into it (hair dryers/shavers etc).
Going by the above description, this is the 2nd switch on a 2 gang switch in a 3way/intermediate switching arrangement?
Have a look at your notes from collage or google a drawing. Look at each circuit at a time and then think about the cables for both in the same back box to a 2 gang switch???
Do you want to know where the sprinkles --- from?!?!?!?! ;)
Thanks for the welcome back. NYE and getting ready to go out. Question:- If I wrap kitchen foil around the tracker on my ankle, will it stop the signal to the local police station????
No mate, nothing like that. It was just a good time to concentrate on life and not the Forum + other none essential things. I'm back now, ready to have a laugh with you all.... well now that the court cases have stopped and being put on a special registrar.... I can no longer live within 500...
Just ask your electrician to install a short bit of 20mm or 25mm galv conduit in between the two socket back boxes bedded in the wall (a coupler would be easier). This is well within the Regs and is listed in the Regs itself. The new socket plate can be an RCD or none RCD one, depends upon its...

@Nolnoc @Pete999 sorry to heard about your loss.
Jade had to be put down, she was starting to feel the pain regardless of the pain killers, not fair to her to continue.
Sunny Saturday morning & a "trip to the vets". Awful, emotional and soul destroying. Although the vets advised not to be in...
C. """affects""" the choice of the OPCD due to A & B. Insulation Resistance will not be effected due to the length of the cable!
Time loop impedance "affects" the designed OPCD due to length of the cable run. The answer is still D in my book. (Tin hat on)
PM me a price for the T2 Archy. How much restoration does it need?
@mykey You have inspired me and new plans are being made. Great out door cooking area, I'm jealous.

Buying another house soon(ish) and it has a really crappy garage. I'm ploughing a mini JCB through it and building a Man Pad. Its only a few hundred breeze blocks and a couple of RSJ's.... how hard can it be????
Pinball machine!! Terminator 2 or Adams Family?????
Going to build a cooking...
D. is the correct answer.
Cable length could be 1m or 200m. It is testing the insulation resistance, not the length of the conductor. The other options are all related to length of conductor!?!?!?!?!?! Although the option are all related, the key word is """NOT"""
