That's how's it's installed either mistakenly to offer Rcd protection or couldn't be bothered to fit an additional board and earth rods to get the Ra acceptable I imagine
Hi guys doing a solar iboost as a subby the other day and noticed that the Pv supply had been connected to a shared RCD, situation was TT supply feeding 2 dbs at the origin each with a 30mA main switch RCD.
I was always under the impression that this was incorrect but read through the Dti guide...
Yeah will just price labour only then and give them a rough estimate of materials which they can pick up.

There's no way they can claim any vat back on my labour then if I'm not registered ?
Been asked to quite a new build job and if I'm VAT registered which I'm not.
If I carry out the work what is the situation for my client claiming back the VAT ?
Was going to suggest they supply materials under my direction but would have to increase labour price then to reflect loss of profit...
That's what I say to my financial manager/wife if it saves me 3 mins a week I can get home earlier to help her out. It's never about a shiny new tool [emoji23]
Just getting the fein out now great tool for precise cuts on damp plaster board etc. Have done lightweight thermalite blocks with a blunt wood blade as well [emoji23]had 2 Bosch 10.8 gops and the fein is much better
Like no.4 just really got in a position where I can say no chance to a few people who I would have done work to in the past and feel quite good about it
Depends what there is I suppose, just done an open plan office before xmas with 4 lots of 1x 4mm ring and 30 cat5 so used centre for data and bottom for power.
