Thank you for your replies guys.
Like you, I asked myself why? and triple checked everything, so swapped them back over.
As there is now no C1 and no place to record "rectified revered tails at board". Is there any need or requirement to report this to, either, whichever company may have made...
Thanks for the reply guys.
The width of the Gewiss is what caught my eye, as I could have done with one that narrow a couple of weeks back.
And i must admit the Wylex does look a better job.
Thanks again.
Wicksy,
Out.
On the front cover of May 2012 Professional Electrician shows a rather tidy 2 Mod Enclosure.
Does anyone know what make they are and or who sells them?
Thanks.
Check light circuits have an earth. CPC free installations are quite common and need identifying when quoting/ planning.
Also the presence or not of RCDs on circuits of kitchens, bathrooms etc.
Just finished job. Stuck in CPC regardless and tested as normal.

thanks.

Electric Center offer good discount, not local but deliver quickly so keep them in the loop.
The odd request for improved discount cant do any harm.
Internet shopping for larger items can save surprisingly too.
Thanks for the constructive preply chaps.
I have quoted for the job to include 12v fan with Fused spur and transformer, both external to the bathroom. Also for the provision of RCD for that circuit. (Which she does want, but at a later date).
Welchyboy has mentioned as has a colleague that, as...

Start planning ahead now. If it is you, take it on the chin with your head high. If its not you then you will be better prepared the next time redundancy rears its head or...
I have a customer who wants an extractor fan in her bathroom. I visited and noted lack of main bonding to gas and no RCD protection for the property. Due to cost she does not want extra work done (yet). As the gas bonding is very straight forward (1 meter of 10mm and a clip) I would be happy to...
